VidSnatcher Review – My Experience In Using It and How Does It Work?

I used this product as a beta tester and today I’m going to make this honest review for you.

So you can trust everything from my review.

I. DASHBOARD

I will show you around the dashboard area right below:

In this dashboard you can see the options Start Here which is the current page. Others are Projects tab, Template Tabs.

This page contains the training video button where you can access all the training videos related to VidSnatcher. Here is just a few:

This is Projects Tab where you will able to see all the projects that you have saved in the VidSnatcher:

There’s also a Templates Tab where you can access all the different ready-made niche templates to make professional videos for your business.

Now let’s get back to the home screen and talk about these two options: these are two canvases size, the first is 1:1 which is very popular for video shown on social media nowadays like instagram, and the other canvas size 16:9 is known for standard size.

So you can select either of them to get started with VidSnatcher as below:

II. EDITING DASHBOARD

After having chosen one, you’ll be moved to the editing dashboard with complete editing flexibility at any point:

1/ Project Properties

It allows you do a lot of stuff when you go to Project Properties box on the right of screen as below:

Here you can easily change canvas size by selecting a preset size like 480p, 720p, 1080p… or entering a custom size to suit your specific need.

And you can also set the canvas background color for exported videos whatever color you want.

2/ Media Properties

Let’s move toward the Media Properties.

You can easily see the project properties panel which is by default selected.

After importing media on the canvas, then you click on it so this panel will show media properties as below:

There are some tools like alignment by which you can align the object on the canvas, you can also adjust the position of the object by entering the direct value.

With the opacity slider, you can adjust the opacity of any object on the canvas.

The last one in this panel is Scale To Canvas option. It will automatically adjust the size of selected media according to the canvas.

3/ Timeline

Done with the two properties above, we will continue discovering the timeline. Vidsnatcher timeline has a lot of features.

When you import media and drag it into the canvas, it will be automatically added onto the timeline layers:

This timeline box above contains undo/redo, copy, cut, paste, break, zoom in and zoom out option.

Using break option you can split the media.

You can even Remove Green Screen, Record Voiceover, Record Screen… which we can dig more deeper in the training videos so don’t forget to check these out.

4/ Left Media Pannel

We have left tool panel here which contains some features like media, icons, text, shapes, transitions, background music, translating text-to-speech :

In media section there is an add media option by which you can upload audios videos and images.

And in media URL you can upload media like videos and images by using a direct URL.

a/ Icon

Let’s talk about icon section:

When you click on it you will see two options: Animated and Simple.

In Animated section there are 100-plus animated icons you can add animated icons by just dragging it to the canvas, and in Simple section you will able to add static icon to make best video for your business.

b/ Text

In text section you can add text, translate it, change style and font of your text, change size of your text, add stroke, and also change color of your text then click on add text button to add this text to the canvas.

c/ Shape

In shape section you will get some ready-made shapes that you can use to highlight some points in the video.

d/ Transition

In transition section you will get some amazing inner and outter effect through which you can put some eye-catching animations in your video and image.

You just need to select the media from the timeline, apply inner and outer transitions and then hit the play button

e/ Audio

In the background music you can get background music collection to give fantastic theme in your video.

f/ Text to speech

Move on to awesome feature translating text-to-speech, in this feature you will able to translate and convert your text into speech by just simple clicks.

First you need to type or paste your desired text.

Let’s see the translation feature. You can choose which language you want to translate your text into. Select your language and click translate, it will automatically translate your text into that language.

Now you have your text in the text area, after that you select a language in which you want to convert your text into speech. There are multiple languages to choose, then select gender and accent for speech.

For example I’ll pick male and Australia accent.

Finally click on search voice button. After clicking search button you will get a pop which shows speech in different voices based on your selected accent in language.

You can listen the audio and add to media library by clicking on add to media library button as below:

5/ Menu Bar

Menu bar contains features like editor, media resources, my videos, project tab and export button.

a/ Editor

Now let’s talk about editor option:

In this feature you can take a screenshot of any website by pasting the a website URL in this bar and click on search button.

It allows you add shapes in the screenshot, highlight some key points and crop the image in the editor when you are done.

b/ Media Resource

In this feature you will get two options search from pexels and search from pixabay.

In the pexels option you can search any videos and images related to your project:

In the pixabay option you can also search an add variety of amazing free images into your project, you just need to enter keyword related to your project you can also filter your search:

c/ Export

When you finalize your project and want to export it then first you need to save your project in Project Tab.

When your video is rendered and ready you can directly download your video or you can also directly upload your exported video to YouTube and Dropbox.
