So once you’re inside the dashboard, just go to login with Facebook first to connect your account:
Now let’s get started! I will show you how to create a pixels code now. I will create a Test event code just to check tracking if it’s working or not and show that in real time.
Simply go to “Create Pixel” on the left hand-side panel. Here it will automatically patch your Facebook pixels from your ad account. Then you will need to select a “Facebook pixel ID” and enter “Test event code” as below:
This above “Test event code” can be taken from Facebook Ads manager. So once you’re inside Facebook ads manager, go to your “Event manager”, access “Test Events” tab and copy this code:
Click on Continue, here you can configure your custom events:
For example – I’m running an ecommerce store, I will select the type as “Purchase”, then choose the main currency, enter product price, product type.. as seen below:
When you’re done, click on Continue and copy this below clipboard:
Okay so I paste the code here and click on Save changes:
Now let’s visit the page:
Now you should see an event in your Events Manager:
From above, you can see an event from the server that URL and Partner AdRaven and the other data. See how simple and easy is that?
Let’s try another one. If you want to track the purchase events, just go here and copy “The conversion code”:
Then paste it, save the change:
Now let’s visit the purchasing page:
And now you should see the data here in Event Manager. See it’s processed the purchase:
It’s showing the value, the currency, the content type, partner content, name and number of items… in my below screenshot:
